Every time a new project in your area of expertise is uploaded on the portal, you will get an email notification of the same. Thereafter you can login to the portal and after duly checking the project and understanding it fully, if you are confident of delivering the project within given deadline, then you may accept the project and it would be allocated to you. It is advisable that you keep a tab of your emails, since notification of a new project is sent to all the wordsmiths (writers) of the given subject.
